About Me	I knocked around for a few years. I joined the Navy. I worked in Houston for a while. I moved back to Abbeville in 1988. Started at USL. Earned a BA in history in 1994, an MA in history 1995. I attended Auburn University to work on my doctorate. While on a break I applied for a teaching job at a newly created community college, South Louisiana Community College and didn't look back. Its been ten years since then. I am the Chair of the Arts and Humanities Department and the Coordinator for the Associate degree in Liberal Arts. I married in 1997. My wife, Julia, is currently directo...(read more)
